Camino’s story begins with two friends from law school cycling the Camino de Santiago, a 500 mile pilgrimage across Spain. Completing this spiritual and physically strenuous journey gave them a new found appreciation for life, and a firm belief that anything is truly possible.

Their experience, the stories, and lore they came home with became the conceptual foundation for the creation of their brand. Camino is proof of the power of a great story. With a quality product in hand, the story becomes a conversation starter, the something special that grabs the attention of strangers.

Our roll then became taking an experience so personal and profound to the founders and translating that into something relatable to anyone, without explanation. This became true in reimagining their primary icon the shell – with its radiating lines signifying all roads leading back to one. We found ways to retrace the textures of their adventure, worn signs, cracked plaster, and topography – while tracing California’s deeply intertwined connection to Spain. The result is a brand the feels pensive, timeless, and rooted in the past and present.
