Fieldwork’s identity is all about a connection between the quality and attention to detail in the beer-making process and an appreciation for the beauty found in the surrounding Northern California outdoors.

We built an identity, packaging, and interior design system ready to be deployed at scale across many packaged can releases, hundreds of draft accounts, and seven locations as of today. Embracing a natural aesthetic and an appreciation for subtle imperfection and texture allowed us to achieve rapid and consistent scalability without things feeling too templated and sterile.

Weaving the experience of the physical locations with subtle details that help tell a story of adventure and wanderlust—botanical drawings, topographic maps, trail head signs—and translating that into the packaged product helped to create something uniquely memorable that inspired customers to take the beer with them on their own adventures and share their experiences. This helped foster a larger community around the brand.

As a technical partner, we were central to the creation of Fieldwork’s web-based beer pre-order system. This first-of-its-kind tool gave Fieldwork the ability to sell beer online for pickup from all six of their taproom locations.
